Work continues on Interstate 20 as part of the Alabama Department of Transportation’s project to widen the last four-lane segment of the roadway in St. Clair County. Weather permitting, beginning at 6 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 29, the eastbound outside lane of I-65 between mile markers 147.7 and 148.4 will be closed for paving. The lane will reopen when paving is complete, no later than Sunday, Jan. 30.
